BANANA BARS
½ C butter softened
1 ½ C sugar
2 eggs
1 C sour cream
1 t vanilla
2 C flour
1 t baking soda
¼ t salt
1 C mashed ripe bananas
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 10x15 inch pan.
Cream butter and sugar till smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in sour cream
and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt. Stir into the batter. Mix in mashed banana.
Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow bars
to cool completely before frosting.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
8 oz cream cheese softened
½ C butter softened
2 t vanilla
4 C powdered sugar
